It is with great pleasure that I respond to the request of Fr. Shaji M Lucka CSC to testify to you of the miraculous power of the Rosary. It’s been three years since I started praying the Rosary daily with a group called the Friends of the Holy Rosary, known by the French name “Les Amis du Saint Rosaire.” I must acknowledge that many things have changed in my life. It feels as if my relationship with the Lord has a different aroma, one that smells more like a rose. It has gained more credibility. That change has had a definitive impact on my ministry, which is becoming more radiant, more attractive and more fruitful. The fire that was asleep in me has been awakened to the point that it is difficult for me to count the blessings that the Lord has bestowed on and accomplished through me, including the healing of a cancer-stricken parishioner whose back cancer had resisted all kinds of treatments. After praying over him and his children at home, he called me, a few weeks later, to testify that his doctor had detected no trace of cancer. He rejoiced that this ended his need to take medications and firmly believed that his cure occured in the name of Jesus. Please allow me to share with you the testimonies of three other people who are part of the online prayer platform of the Friends of the Holy Rosary.
Marie-Nicole Borge: The Rosary is a very important part of my life. I had multiple miracles that happened over the past 2 years that I’ve been in the group. I want to talk about a tangible one.
I had been trying to obtain visas for my 3 nephews to live and work here in the US multiple time without success. When the Biden program came, I did a first application in January 2023. Some other people who did the same thing were either successful within days, weeks, or never did get an answer. I started praying the Rosary in October that year asking The Virgin Mary for help. By December we were offering a novena to the Immaculate Mary. My only intention throughout these 9 days was for my nephews. I applied to get the visas. Within a week after the completion of our novena, my nephews obtained their visas and were able to come to the US. With the current Trump administration, my nephews faced the threat of deportation. However, despite this they still have a job. One of them, even, who did not manage to obtain work initially
secured a position at a hotel when it was vacated by the previous employee. I remain certain that all this is a miracle brought about by my saying the Rosary. This is my testimony.
Myriam J. Voigt-Moreau : The Rosary has changed my life in so many ways. It leads me to Jesus Christ life’s journey on earth. Praying the rosary strengthens my faith and helps me overcome many challenges in my life. Through the Rosary prayer, I receive messages, healings, and liberations. For instance, I was healed of an umbilical hernia last spring. I was shocked to learn of the disappearance of the hernia. It was definitely evident on the CT-Scan prior to receiving the healing message. I also received comfort from Our Lady of Fatima on the day of my dad’s passing away last year. The Rosary brings peace in my life, especially during difficult times. The Rosary empowers me to evangelize. The Blessed Virgin Mother always points us to Jesus. Now I have a deeper relationship with God because of the Rosary. This is my testimony.
Josée Voigt : I have tried numerous times before to be closer to God but always went back to stagnation. I started praying the Rosary a year ago and I can truthfully say that this is the first time that my spiritual life has stayed on course. Les Amis Du Saint Rosaire has been the source of encouragement and support. It has guided me down the path of faith and spirituality. As a caretaker I’m always nurturing to others around me, making sure my family and patients are cared for. I have learned to apply that same diligence and dedication to my spiritual journey. The discipline with the Rosary has been reflective of a personal commitment to my faith and self-care. Sharing in this prayer group has filled my cup with a deep spiritual sense. Les Amis Du Saint Rosaire has opened the path to other prayer avenues which help to support and strengthen my commitment. This is my testimony.
