I was born and raised in the Philippines. After graduating from college I struggled looking for a job and felt so hopeless. But I never lost hope praying day and night that through the intercession of our Blessed Mother Mary I would find employment and thus be able to support myself and find a better life. I can say now that I wouldn’t be where I am now if my prayers were not answered. When I talk to some of my friends and hear their problems the first thing I do is to pray for them, praying for the intercession of Our Lady on their behalf. I have a great faith in our dear Mother of God.

I always pray and talk to our Lady as if she were in front of me. Sometimes I am happy and sometimes very sad to the point that I cannot stop myself from crying , praying for the safety of my family, friends and for peace in this world. On one occasion, while praying the rosary in community at our church with my eyes closed, suddenly the image of our Lady of Lourdes appeared in my vision . I was so moved that I cried with tears of joy.

Most of the time when I pray the Rosary at night I envision the important things I need to do. I sometimes make Rosaries for the Church and for me it is a labour of love for our dear Mother. Everyday in my life I have prayed to our Mother of God and she has truly become and is my Lady of Hope.
