Strengthening the Vision and Mission: A Fruitful Canonical Visit

The canonical visit of Rev. Claude Grou, CSC, Provincial Superior of the Province of Canada, and Fr. Jomon K, CSC, Vicar, on March 3rd, 2025, at St.Thomas Church, Waterdown, Ontario, and the meeting with Fr Shaji M L CSC, the National Director HCFM Canada officially marked a significant milestone in strengthening and integrating the HCFM Ministry with the vision and mission of the Province of Canada. Their presence, dialogue and concern brought renewed vigor and purpose to our integrated mission.

One of the most remarkable aspects of this visit was the deep commitment and proactive approach of Fr. Claude Grou and his team in furthering the services of Holy Cross Family Ministries (HCFM) in Canada. Their keen interest and overwhelming support for embedding HCFM more firmly within the province in a structured and integrated manner were particularly noteworthy.

During this pivotal meeting with Fr. Shaji, alongside Fr. Grou and Fr. Jomon, this collective vision was emphasized with great enthusiasm.
