Meeting with the Bishop of the Diosece of Calgary, Alberta

The meeting took place on Wednesday, February 12, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at the Catholic Pastoral Centre in Calgary, with the following attendees: Most Rev. William Terrence McGrattan DD, Bishop of Calgary; Rev. Shaji M. Lucka, C.S.C., National Director of Holy Cross Family Ministries, Canada; and Antony Banka.

Appreciation and Acknowledgments: HCFM sincerely appreciate the presence of Antony Banka during our discussions, whose insights and engagement were invaluable. Warm Welcome and Hospitality: HCFM extend our heartfelt gratitude to the leadership of His Grace Most. Rev. William Terrence McGrattan and staff of the Catholic Pastoral Centre, Calgary, for the warm welcome and gracious hospitality extended to Fr. Shaji M. Lucka, C.S.C., the National Director HCFM- Canada during his maiden visit on Wednesday 12th February 2025. The atmosphere was uplifting, reflecting the host’s kindness and openness, making our engagement a fulfilling and meaningful experience.

Rev. Shaji M. Lucka, CSC, graciously presented a beautifully curated set of spiritual resources, including a copy of the inspiring book All for Her on the life and mission of Venerable Patrick Peyton. Alongside this treasured volume, he also shared a blessed Rosary, symbolizing the profound power of family prayer. Additionally, he provided three editions of the HCFM Canada Newsletter in French, English, and Spanish, ensuring a broader reach across diverse communities. To further deepen the understanding and devotion to the Rosary, he offered a set of three insightful books designed for different age groups, making the beauty of this prayer accessible to all generations. Lastly, he included a special prayer card dedicated to the beatification of Venerable Patrick Peyton, inviting all to join in seeking his intercession.
