On 15th February 2025, I had the privilege of meeting with Pastor Fr. Pilmiken at Our Lady of the Rockies Church in Canmore, Calgary. It was an inspiring and enriching conversation as we explored the possibilities of collaboration between Holy Cross Family Ministries (HCFM) Canada and his parish community.
Fr. Pilmiken, a dynamic and deeply committed young priest, expressed great enthusiasm for promoting devotion to the Blessed Mother and the Holy Family. His passion for pastoral ministry and his openness to new initiatives created a wonderful opportunity for HCFM to extend its services and resources to the parishioners of Our Lady of the Rockies.
As I shared about the mission and resources of HCFM—particularly in encouraging family prayer, the Rosary, and faith formation—Fr. Pilmiken eagerly welcomed the idea of integrating these into his pastoral initiatives. His visionary approach and dedication to strengthening faith within families make him a remarkable partner in this mission.
This meeting has opened a beautiful door for greater collaboration. With his strong commitment and pastoral zeal, I am confident that Our Lady of the Rockies Church will become a vibrant hub for promoting prayer, family unity, and Marian devotion.
I left the meeting truly inspired by Fr. Pilmiken’s passionate commitment to evangelization and look forward to the fruitful partnership that lies ahead. HCFM Canada stands ready to support and journey with him in spreading the love of Christ through prayer and devotion.
