It is with great joy and Our Lady’s intercession that a group of devoted women from St. James Parish gathered to learn to make cord rosaries on a Saturday morning in November. The group, who faithfully feels the importance of the rosary, accepted the gentle call from our Mother. The session began with Fr.Shaji leading the women in prayer and with his asking our Lady to open their hearts and minds as they gathered in faith. As always, our Lady came through and all the Rosary makers were successful in their creations. The members joyfully dedicated their time and patience while trying to learn this new skill. There was much camaraderie and helpful assistance from everyone as they completed their task. The group then assured their Pastor, Father Joseph, that they would accept the challenge to make rosaries for the youth in the schools, and anyone requesting a rosary. HCFM would like to acknowledge the ladies from St. James Parish and their sacrifice of time, and pray that they feel the grace and gratitude Our Lady imparts on all who do her work.
