On June 5, 2025, the Mohawk College Auditorium in Hamilton became a place of joy, pride, and inspiration as St. Mary’s School celebrated the graduation of over 200 students who completed their 12th Grade. The event was a milestone not only for the graduates and their families but also for the entire school community, marking years of hard work, perseverance, and faith-filled learning. Fr. Shaji M. L., CSC, National Director of Holy Cross Family Ministries (HCFM) Canada, was invited as the Chief Guest. In his heartfelt message to the graduating class, he encouraged the students to carry forward the values of faith, family, and service as they step into the next chapter of their lives. Following his inspiring words, Fr. Shaji blessed each graduate and personally presented them with their Graduation Certificates, a gesture that added a special and memorable touch to the ceremony. The celebration was graced by the presence of the Principal, Ms. Sophia, Chaplain Don Hall, dedicated staff members, proud parents, special guests, and, of course, the graduating students whose faces radiated excitement and accomplishment.
The ceremony was beautifully organized, blending formality with warmth. Meaningful speeches, touching moments of gratitude, and the collective spirit of celebration created an atmosphere filled with encouragement and hope. For HCFM Canada, it was a moment of special honour, reflecting its ongoing commitment to journey with young people and schools through its faith-based services and resources. As the graduates left the auditorium, they carried not just their certificates, but also the blessings, prayers, and good wishes of an entire community that believes in their potential. It was indeed a day to remember—a celebration of achievement, unity, and the promise of a bright future.
