On April 6th, 2025 the Catholic Women’s League at St. Thomas the Apostle Parish in Waterdown, Ontario, Canada held a women’s retreat where Bishop Wayne Lobsinger spoke on the topic of ‘Mary, Our Model of Hope’. The Rev. Father Shaji M. Lucka, CSC, the National Director of Holy Cross Family Ministries had a very active role in making this event successful. Father Shaji not only donated Rosaries and Rosary pamphlets for this retreat but led a decade of the Rosary and the Consecration to the Virgin Mary. The contribution of Rosaries and pamphlets by Holy Cross Family Ministries was very much appreciated by the women because as the Joyful Mysteries were recited, the retreatants were joyfully unified in prayer as Pilgrims of Hope. Thank you to Fr. Shaji and Holy Cross Family Ministries for inspiring, promoting and fostering the prayer life of all through the praying of the Rosary.
