When a few of us came together to start the HCFM Intercessory Prayer Group, we never imagined how quickly it would grow into something we would look forward to each month. What began as a simple idea has become a source of faith, friendship, and hope — especially for us new immigrants who miss the small joys of home. Our most recent gathering, held on 17th May, was hosted by Shanjo, his wife Shine, and their children Justina and Joel, who welcomed everyone with open hearts and warm hospitality. Our time together was anchored in praying the Rosary and fellowship, with voices singing soulful hymns and lifting heartfelt prayers. Chai tea and snacks set a warm, welcoming tone, and after the prayers, a shared dinner brought a gentle close to a night that nourished both soul and body. Each month, faces grow more familiar, bonds deepen, and our hearts feel lighter. These are more than just prayer meetings — they are moments that weave joy, hope, and faith into our lives. In Jesus, we have found a family that prays together, laughs together, and walks together in faith. Truly, this fellowship is a small spark that lights up our month, every single time.
