The Canada Jesus Youth National Convention, held at McMaster University in Hamilton, Toronto, from August 9th to 11th, 2024, was a momentous occasion that brought together around 1,000 young Catholics and numerous families with their children across Canada. The convention’s emphasis on renewing faith, particularly as individuals and within families, is especially commendable in our present age. As the Chaplain for Jesus Youth Ontario Regional Council, I was blessed to share in thisremarkable journey, offering my humble services with a passionate drive to encourage these young men and women to integrate Eucharist, word of God, sacrament of reconciliation, love for personal prayer and praying the Rosary into their daily lives.

Holy Cross Family Ministry Canada (HCFM) had set up a stall and it was a point of attention for attendees along with the materials on Saint Andre Bessette of Montreal, the Patron of Jesus Youth Canada. We distributed literature on Venerable Patrick Peyton, along with Rosaries and “How to Pray the Rosary” leaflets, all aimed at fostering “Happy, Healthy, and Holy Families” and nurturing faith-filled communities. The eager reception of these resources by the young attendees was a testament to their desire to deepen their understanding and practice of prayer.
