The Rosary, prayed daily, allows us to reflect and meditate on the key events of Jesus’ life and Christmas is no exception. While the Annunciation, the Visitation and the Nativity are the stand-out mysteries, how many others have us contemplating Christmas? Do we see how different the crown of thorns is from the gifts of the Three Wise Men to show Jesus’ Kingship? Do we see the wood of the Cross in the wood of the manger that baby Jesus slept in? Do we see the bright glory of the Transfiguration reflected in the bright glory the shepherds saw when the Angels brought them the Good News? To make it even more special we also have the Christmas Rosary where the Angel Gabriel appears to Zechariah, where the Angel Gabriel appears to Joseph and Mary, Joseph and Mary arrive in Bethlehem, the arrival of the Shepherds and the star of Bethlehem illuminates the way of the Three Wise Men. Bring joy to your Family, Friends and Parish Community by praying the Rosary this Christmas!
