On March 1st, 2025, a fruitful and inspiring meeting was held at St. Kevin’s Parish in Welland with Fr. Jinto P. CSC, the esteemed Pastor, and Fr. Sunil CSC, the dedicated Associate Pastor. The primary agenda of the meeting was to discuss the introduction and expansion of Holy Cross Family Ministries (HCFM) activities within the parish and its associated school community.
From the very outset, Fr. Jinto and Fr. Sunil displayed remarkable warmth, graciousness, and an unwavering commitment to enriching the spiritual life of their parishioners. Their magnanimity and openness to new initiatives created an atmosphere of collaboration and mutual encouragement. The meeting was filled with engaging discussions, insightful suggestions, and creative ideas on how HCFM could best serve the needs of the parish and school community under their pastoral care.
HCFM, with its mission of fostering prayer, family unity, and devotion to the Rosary, was delighted to extend its wholehearted support and resources to assist St. Kevin’s Parish in every possible way. Various possibilities were explored to integrate HCFM’s initiatives into the life of the parish, including family prayer movements, Rosary devotions, and faith formation programs. The conversation underscored the shared vision of strengthening Christian families through prayer and active faith engagement. One of the most exciting outcomes of the meeting was the proposal of a significant parish-level activity scheduled to take place on April 28th, 29th, and 30th, 2025. Fr. Jinto enthusiastically suggested HCFM’s involvement in this event, and HCFM joyfully accepted the invitation. This event will serve as a milestone in deepening spiritual engagement and foster greater faith formation among the participants.
The meeting concluded on an extremely positive and encouraging note, marking the beginning of a strong and fruitful collaboration between HCFM and St. Kevin’s Parish. HCFM is committed to reaching out to as many parishes and dioceses across Canada as possible.
