The visit to Holy Cross Family Ministries (HCFM) International in North Easton, Massachusetts, was a profoundly enriching and inspiring experience. This visit provided me with a unique opportunity to meet with Fr. Fred Jenga, CSC, President of HCFM International; Fr. Pinto Paul, CSC, International Director of HCFM; and other esteemed department heads such as Andrew McDonald, Director of Advancement, Father David Marcham, Vice Postulator and Guild Director, Allison Gingras, Director of Digital Evangelization, Amy Dyke, Director of the Father Peyton Center, Mariano (JR) Pimentel, Director of Human Resources, Craig Dyke, Director of Programs & Mission Outreach – Family Rosary USA, Fr.Bobby John C.S.C., Chaplain and as Co-Director of Family Rosary USA. The discussions held during these meetings were deeply insightful, reinforcing our shared mission of promoting family prayer and strengthening our collective commitment to the vision of Venerable Patrick Peyton.
A Fruitful and Inspiring Encounter
The interactions with Fr. Fred Jenga and Fr. Pinto Paul, along with the dedicated team at HCFM International, were highly engaging and motivating. The exchanges of ideas and strategies for furthering the mission of family prayer and devotion to the Rosary in Canada were both practical and spiritually uplifting. Their leadership, coupled with their passion for the mission, left a lasting impression on me, deepening my appreciation for the remarkable work being accomplished by Holy Cross Family Ministries on a global scale.
Pilgrimage to the Tomb of Venerable Patrick Peyton
A particularly moving highlight of my visit was the pilgrimage to the tomb of Venerable Patrick Peyton. Standing in the presence of this holy place, where the “Rosary Priest” rests, was an experience filled with grace and reflection. His legacy of advocating for family prayer and his unwavering faith continue to inspire generations. I spent time in prayer, seeking his intercession for the ongoing mission of Holy Cross Family Ministries worldwide, especially in Canada, where our work continues to bear fruit.
Visit to Stonehill College and Holy Cross Confreres
Another enlightening experience was my visit to Stone Hill College, a prestigious institution established by the Congregation of Holy Cross. The college stands as a testament to the educational mission of Holy Cross, shaping young minds with values of faith and service. Additionally, my encounter with the Holy Cross confreres and their missions in this part of the United States was truly inspiring. Witnessing their unwavering dedication to pastoral and missionary work reaffirmed my vocation and the importance of our shared charism. Their commitment to faith, education, and service in various ministries highlights the profound impact of the Holy Cross in shaping communities and nurturing faith.
Hospitality and Spiritual Enrichment
The hospitality extended to me during my visit was truly heartwarming. The sense of fraternity and the warm welcome I received from the Holy Cross community made me feel at home. The spirit of solidarity, prayer, and shared mission was evident in every encounter. I am profoundly grateful for the kindness and generosity shown to me throughout my stay. My visit to Holy Cross Family Ministries International in North Easton, Massachusetts, was a deeply fulfilling and spiritually uplifting experience. The inspiring leadership of Fr. Fred Jenga, Fr. Pinto Paul, and the entire HCFM team, coupled with the powerful legacy of Venerable Patrick Peyton and the motivating conversations with Fr. Willy, the former President of HCFM International, have further strengthened my commitment to the mission of family prayer. The remarkable works accomplished by the Holy Cross confreres in this region are a testimony to the enduring power of faith and service. May God continue to bless and guide the Congregation of Holy Cross and its diverse ministries in the United States and across the world as we strive to bring families closer to Christ through prayer and devotion.
