Holy Cross Family Ministries (HCFM) Canada was privileged to extend its pastoral and sacramental services during the Jesus Youth Ontario Regional Council gathering, held on January 25th and 26th in Mississauga. This significant event was convened to elect the new Ontario Regional Council members. Fr. Shaji, the National Director of HCFM Canada and Chaplain for the Jesus Youth Ontario Regional Council, presided over the Holy Eucharist on both days, offering profound reflections that enriched the spiritual experience of the participants. He imparted his blessings upon the assembly, the newly elected office bearers, and their mission, encouraging them to embrace their responsibilities with faith and dedication. He also emphasized the importance of cultivating the habit of praying the Rosary, making it an integral part of their spiritual lives. These sessions served as a powerful reminder for families to anchor their lives in Christ, nurtured through Scripture, prayer, and the Sacraments. The newly elected council members include: Abin Mathew (Coordinator), Catherine Mithun (Assistant Coordinator), Lea Mariya Benny, John Jacob, Meldon Azavedo, Emil Mathew Joy, Ajin Jose, and Frederic Renet (Members), Fred Mathew (Permanent Invitee), Jency Mathew (Animator). Through these initiatives, Holy Cross Family Ministries continues its unwavering mission of strengthening faith and fostering family unity through prayer and devotion to the Eucharist. Committed to drawing families closer to Christ, HCFM remains inspired by the enduring legacy of Venerable Patrick Peyton, CSC, championing his vision that “The family that prays together stays together.”
