Guided by Grace: A Legacy of Prayer and the Power of the Rosary
My mother, with unwavering faith and devotion, started a Rosary group to keep families united…
Dear Jesus, Father Peyton devoted his priestly life to strengthening the families of the world by calling them to pray together every day, specially the Rosary. His message is as important for us now as it was during his life on earth. We beg you, therefore, to hasten the day of his beatification so that your faithful people everywhere will remember his message that The Family That Prays Together Stays Together, will imitate him in his devotion to your Mother and ours, and will be inspired by his holy life to draw ever closer to you with childlike confidence and love. Amen.
We do for others what we wish to be done to ourselves
This initiative encourages families around the world to pray the Rosary together. HCFM organizes events, provides educational resources, and distributes Rosary beads to foster this practice.
HCFM offers various educational programs for children, youth, and adults to teach them about the importance of family prayer. These programs are often integrated into schools, parishes, and community groups.
HCFM conducts retreats and workshops globally to strengthen family bonds through prayer and shared spiritual experiences. These retreats often focus on the importance of the Eucharist and the Rosary in family life.
Let us pray the Rosary together
1. The Agony in the Garden of
Gethsemane:
Jesus went to a place called
Gethsemane to pray. “My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from Me; yet, not as l will, but as You will.”
(Mt 26:36-46)
2. The Scourging at the Pillar:
The council of chief priests, elders and teachers had Jesus bound, led away and handed over to Pilate. Pilate, wishing to satisfy the crowd, had Jesus scourged and then handed Him over to be crucified.
(Mk15:1-15)
3. The Crowning with Thorns:
They stripped Him and put on Him a scarlet military cloak. Weaving a crown of thorns, placing a reed in His right hand, they knelt and mocked Him saying, “Hail, King of the Jews”.
(Mt27:27-31)
4. Jesus carries His heavy Cross:
Jesus, weak from being beaten, way unable to carry His cross to Golgotha alone. Simon, a Cyrenian, helped Him.
(Mk 15:20-22)
5.The Crucifixion and Death of Our Lord:
When they came to the place called the Skull, they crucified Him and the criminals there, one on His right, the other on His left. Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, they know not what they do.”
(Lk 23:33-46)
